The first time I am trying Releasit Encapsulating Detergent as a shampoo for cleaning loose wool oriental rugs, there are several done at this time. I used Fiber Plus Pads instead of a brush or bonnet to see how well the Fiber Plus Pads cleaned the rugs. They did just fine. As well as a bonnet or brush.

After cleaning the 2 hanging, and the 9 x 12 on the floor. Note the shampoo foam around the edges of the rug. Note the 17 inch diameter Fiber Plus Pads attached under the 14 inch Hild roto at the far end of the rug.

Another angle of the same thing. Note 2 other rugs hanging, cleaned the same way.

Reverse angle photo of the same 9 x 12 wool oriental.

A green oriental done the same way.

Showing the 2 double gang pulleys used to hoist the wet rugs.

Showing the manner I use to lift the wet rugs. Half up on one end, tie off.

Lift the opposite end up all the way up, tie off.

Then the first end all the way up, tie off.

Combing out the fringe using a Handi-Groomer.

Combed half the fringe.

After combing the fringe, some need to be trimmed off square.

Just the frayed tips are trimmed.

Another angle of combed fringe. Partly trimmed on right end. Note untrimmed frayed tips on left.
