Gary R. Heacock,
Plant washing rugs since 1956

While we do cleaning of carpets at the customer's location, We feel that plant washing of loose rugs removes a larger amount of soils, etc., than a surface cleaning on location.

This process is a genuinely superior system for removal of large amounts of soil.

Washing of loose rugs of all types is done at our location in the "Old Fashioned " way.

All washing is done with the rug flat on a concrete floor- not tumbled, and not steam cleaned.

We find that flooding, soaping, scrubbing, rinsing, and soureing then hanging up to dry is the most thorough way to clean oriental rugs, domestic rugs, hooked rugs, braids, etc., of wool, cotton, silk, or synthetic fibers of all kinds.

Both the face and the back recieve the same treatment, (if the back is washable).

All soils, spots, spills, and stains recieve the individual attention and effort they require, that is possible to remove.

When the rugs are dry, fringes are hand combed, and those that need bleached get what they need for the best appearance.

Silk rugs are gently hand scrubbed, all others are machine scrubbed.

Our process takes a week in plant for best results.

From Steven Wright-
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it.

You can't have everything...where would you put it?

I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time."
So I ordered French toast during the Renaissance.

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.
I think I've forgotten this before.

I got up one morning and couldn't find my socks, so I called Information.
"Hello, Information." I said, "I can't find my socks."
She said, "They're behind the couch."
